The Man From Snowy River is Perisher's largest hotel, located in a great location, in the heart of Perisher Resort, just a couple hundred metres to the Village 8 chairlift and has the only undercover onsite parking in Perisher Valley (fees apply).

Overview

The Man From Snowy River Hotel has one of the best locations in Perisher and offers great accommodation and food for singles, couples and families alike.

At the Man from Snowy River Hotel, all your Perisher accommodation needs are met. Catering for families, groups and couples in comfort & style, either for a weeks' skiing experience or a romantic getaway weekend.

The stunning dining room, with its huge glass facade, looks out over Front Valley with warm open fireplaces and two great bars; the lounge bar and iconic pub bar (which has live entertainment most evenings).

To help you relax, there is an in house beauty salon. There is also an evening Kids Club (does not operate early & late season), which allows parents time to relax, dine together or maybe listen to some music in the bar, whilst the little ones are fed and entertained. Our warm friendly service will complete your Perisher ski experience.

Early/Late Arrivals: Must arrive by MIDNIGHT for check in. Luggage storage available for early arrivals / and departure day skiing.
Parking: Undercover car parking available - bookings essential, fees applicable $65 per vehicle per night. Otherwise overnight parking at Bullocks Flat and then catch the Skitube to Perisher.

Property Features

Dining- Our chefs produce innovative cuisine using fresh produce for the Snowy Mountains, South Coast & Southern NSW. An extensive wine list has been selected by our sommelier to compliment the new menus. Breakfast (all season) and Dinners (during Winter & Shoulder season) are included in the rates. The Lounge Bar - The lounge bar is open from 11.00am until late and offers you the perfect place to unwind. Snuggle in by the open fires and enjoy a glass of wine, cocktail or a warming pot of tea. Read a book, play a game of pool, chess or one of the many board games on offer. Relax and enjoy the ambiance of this cosy retreat. The lounge has an all-day dining menu which ranges from fantastic share places through to an elegant high tea.

Pub Bar - Open from 11.00am  until late. Lunch is available to purchase from 11.00am - 3.00pm and a substantial bar menu is available from 3.00 pm until late.

Kids Club - With Ski School taking care of the children during the daylight hours, the kids club will look after them each evening from 6 - 9pm. The chef prepares a nutritious meal and Staff supervise the children. Parents are welcome to stay with the children during the meal. At the end of the meal, the children are supervised for craft or drawing and perhaps watching a movie or playing games, allowing Mum and Dad to enjoy a romantic dinner, a glass of wine and conversation. Kids are welcome to dine with their parents. Kids Club is suitable for 0-10 year old.  Please note: Kids Club does not operate during opening & Closing season.

Parking:

The Man from Snowy River Hotel offers undercover parking for our guests. Drive along Kosciuszko Road and enjoy the luxury of parking on site with direct internal access to the hotel. There is a $65 fee per vehicle per night for parking and space is limited so it must be pre-booked. Clearance at the garage door is 2.1m. Some 4WD vehicles with a pod will not fit under this & the pod will need to be removed and before entering and the pod will need to be stored inside your vehicle. All vehicle keys must be left a reception on check-in. Please note our car park is unable to accommodate oversized vehicles or trailers as we have limited parking spaces & only allow one normal sized car space per room. National Park entry fees still apply.  Parking must be pre-booked, is not included in the tariff and is paid on arrival.

Breakfast  - In house guests can enjoy a sumptuous hot & cold buffet breakfast each morning of their stay with some daily specials. Buffet is available 7-9am daily.

Dinner - Dinners are included during Winter and Shoulder seasons only (see Rates tab above for dates). Dinner service is a three course menu with full table service. Menu changes daily. The team of chefs have designed a menu with discerning tastes in mind and offer a table d’hote service (set menu) with 3 options per course. The professional wait staff provide full table service.  Dinner is served in the dining room by reservation during your stay or from 6-9pm pub menu in the Pub Bar. Children’s meals are available, and we are committed to providing nutritious and wholesome meals to budding skiers and snowboarders.  Children can eat with the family or can be booked into Kids Club* for supervision during Winter and Shoulder seasons. Our chefs cater for special dietary needs.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: If you have food allergies or special dietary requirements you would like catered for, you must advise at the time of booking or no later than 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
