Summer on Lake JindabyneNovember Charity Motorbike RideAlong the Alpine Way in Summer

7th November 2009

Since 2001 the Snowy Ride has become one of the Snowy Mountains most anticipated Spring events. The Snowy Ride is a motorbike ride that passes through Cooma, Adaminaby, Berridale, Jindabyne and Thredbo. Riders collect stamps from 3 check points along the way to their final destination in Thredbo where the last night is held on the 8th of November.

The Snowy Ride is a charity event which raises money for Childhood Cancer Research. The Ride is dedicated to Steven Walter who was a motorbike enthusiast and lost his fight with Cancer.

Every November hundreds of road bike fanatics fill the roads of the Snowy Mountains for a great weekend and  to raise money for a well deserved cause.
