Diana Alpine Lodge - Falls Creek
Winter 2008

|
Diana is a name associated with mythology and goddess. Whilst not offering anything mystical or divine, this "Alpine goddess" is adored for her homely charm. Diana Alpine Lodge is one of the lodges established in Falls Creek's early days as a Ski Resort. She is a classic of Australian alpine hospitality. Passed on from family to family and for the past 28 years has been owned by a group of 12 families from Swan Hill. Ten years ago, the numbers dwindled to one family, and daughter, Lisa, has been running the lodge since 1996. "This is my home and I am fortunate to be able to share it with so many people who love the same things as I do - mountains and snow. The Diana Team and I are here to look after you and make sure that you make the most of your holiday, relax and have fun." "When I go on holidays I like to feel like I belong and be looked after by friendly, hospitable people. I think our guests feel the same when they come here." - Lisa Logan, Host and "Snow Goddess" Diana Alpine Lodge is close to the gateway into Falls Creek, so it is not long before you are settled in. From here, the Gully Chairlift, International Poma and a range of runs including the home trail are readily accessible. Some of Falls Creek shops, ski hires, and apr?s-ski locations, are our neighbours. Our range of easeful accommodation offer good value, from our traditional lodge-style rooms to our spacious Family Sunsuites. Casual, fulfilling and impressive meals and the daily servicing of your rooms complement the ease of being away, where you do not have to do anything but enjoy your stay. After an invigorating day out on the mountain, all the guests congregate in our cosy lounge to enjoy a warming drink beside the fire or around the licensed bar. Alternatively, attend to those weary muscles in our fantastic hydrotherapy spa - outside! Your stay at Diana Lodge is about an alpine holiday. No need to do anything but enjoy. Make the most of being looked after with all meals prepared for you and a friendly team ready to make sure you are comfortable and truly benefit from your stay. |
