Chalet Jindabyne is a friendly budget lodge centrally located in Jindabyne, the heart of the Snowy Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. Chalet Jindabyne has rooms that can accommodate 2 to 6 persons, all rooms with en-suites. A new, cooked breakfast menu is available, (*Cooked breakfast not included in accommodation price), please see Chalet Jindabyne staff for breakfast orders. Chalet Jindabyne is built on 3 levels with guest rooms located on the top two. The top level features an open plan lounge room and is equipped with TV, DVD & Video player. The main entry level features an open plan dining room with tea & coffee making facilities and guest microwave and fridge. The lower level has a 3/4 size snooker table, lounges, bar and a cosy slow combustion wood fire. It is equipped with TV and DVD player. There is also off street parking, a drying room and lockable ski racks. The lodge is a 5 minute drive to shops, restaurants, pubs, and the town centre. Chalet Jindabyne is located 61 km from Cooma and 462 km from Sydney. Just a short drive (35km) to Perisher Blue Ski Resort & Thredbo Ski Runs. Jindabyne is located below the snowline but within close proximity to Perisher, Thredbo and the Ski Tube (18km from Jindabyne). Besides being a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding in winter, Jindabyne is popular destination for trout fishing, bushwalking, mountain biking, sightseeing and so much more.
